How we provide care
Our medical professionals work as a team with our outpatients and their family members to create individualized treatment plans so our patients can continue to progress at their own ability levels after leaving the hospital. Our rehabilitation team includes specially trained physicians, occupational, speech and physical therapists – among other medical professionals. It is led by our full-time medical director, who is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Our patients who are treated through our outpatient programs have access to well-equipped therapy areas, including a 4,900-square foot therapy gym with private treatment rooms, a heated aquatic therapy pool with an electric lift, and a therapeutic courtyard to allow practice on different terrains such as ramps, stairs, gravel, dirt, curb and curb cut-outs. Our outpatient services include: Speech, Physical and Occupational therapy.
We also offer treatment in our multiple day rooms, which include an Activity Daily Living (ADL) suite and a transitional suite. These areas allow patients to practice normal, daily, at-home activities under the supervision of a healthcare professional. Some of these activities may include cooking, cleaning, or doing laundry.
Support Groups
In addition to our outpatient services, we offer support groups for patients and caregivers to expand treatment and to allow those with common challenges to share experiences, explore resources, encourage one another, and to help teach each other how to best navigate their circumstances.
